Major tree-crop systems
Rubber
Long-established plantations and smallholder farms supply latex. Replanting, processing, global prices, labor conditions, and concession oversight shape the sector.
Cocoa and coffee
Quality begins on farms and continues through harvesting, fermentation or processing, drying, storage, grading, and traceable marketing.
Oil palm
Small-scale and industrial production supply food and commercial markets, while raising questions about land rights, forests, water, and community consent.
Coconuts and fruits
Diverse perennial crops can strengthen diets, farm resilience, processing enterprises, and local markets.

Regulation
The Liberia Agriculture Commodity Regulatory Authority describes responsibilities for promoting and regulating cocoa, coffee, palm, and other commodities, including quality standards and fair markets. The National Agriculture Development Plan includes cash-crop investment priorities.
