Charles Walker Brumskine was a Liberian lawyer, senator and longtime political leader of the Liberty Party.

Election record

• 2005: placed third in the presidential first round with 135,093 votes.
• 2011: contested the presidency for the Liberty Party.
• 2017: placed third with 149,495 votes, or 9.6%.

His party’s legal challenge following the 2017 first round delayed the presidential runoff while the complaints were adjudicated.
