National electoral record

  • 2017: Prince Y. Johnson placed fourth in the presidential first round.
  • 2020: the party won one of the 15 Senate seats contested.
  • 2023: MDR standard bearer Jeremiah Koung joined Joseph Boakai’s Unity Party ticket and was elected vice president; MDR won four House seats and one of the Senate seats contested.
