Hon. Karyou Johnson
The Ministry of Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism inducted Karyou Johnson as Superintendent of Grand Bassa County in 2025.

The superintendent coordinates county administration and works with district, city and local authorities. The 2022 census lists these administrative areas: District Number 1 (Dianblae), District Number 2 (Glarkon), St. John River City, Neekreen, Commonwealth, District Number 3 (Wee) and District Number 4 (Kpaoegbarn).
