Current superintendent
Hon. Whroway Bryant
President Joseph Nyuma Boakai nominated Bryant as Superintendent of Montserrado County in February 2024. He was inducted in May 2024. Government and partner publications continued to identify him in the position in 2025 and 2026.

The superintendent coordinates county administration and works with district, township and city authorities as well as national ministries operating in Montserrado. County-level planning for children begins in Montserrado
13 March 2026 — UNICEF Liberia reported that Montserrado hosted the start of its 2026–2027 county-level planning and engagement process with government leaders, technical experts and development partners.
Mines and Energy county office inaugurated in Bentol
29 December 2025 — Liberia Broadcasting System reported the inauguration of a county office in Bentol as part of a national decentralization and service-delivery initiative.
