President Joseph Nyuma Boakai nominated Alex Grant as Superintendent of Grand Gedeh County in 2024.

The superintendent coordinates county administration and works with district, city and local authorities. The 2022 census lists these administrative areas: Gbao, Gboe-Ploe, Konobo, Tchien, Glio-Twarbo, Putu, B’hai and Cavala.
